Bar Bell workout & Spinning

 Barbell workout is the original weight-based class which challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls, etc. You will get results FAST! Combine that with the cardiovascular benefits of spinning and you have a complete workout.

Weekly Weigh-In & optional weight loss class

 For people monitoring their weight, using high tech equipment. If you do decide to stay on for the weight loss class, you will have a short talk and receive nutritional guidance followed by different exercise programme each week.

Yogalates

Combining Yoga & Pilates. By attending this class regularly you will not only improve your health & fitness but also reduce those stress levels! Your strength, stamina, flexibility and body mobility will increase and muscle tension will be relieved. Adapted for all levels.

Junior Gym Fit/Boot Camp

A class specifically designed for children aged 7 and up, using gym equipment to exercise all muscle groups as well as improving cardiovascular fitness. A brilliant class with lots of different exercises on and off the machines which children will enjoy.

Circuit Fitness

Different exercises working around a circuit for a fixed time. Your fitness levels will improve quickly as you work all major muscle groups, heart and lungs – a great overall workout using fitballs, weights, medicine balls, TRX and more!

Insanity Live, Barbell workout, core and cardio class with TRX

The ultimate workout to tone the whole body and improve cardiovascular fitness with elements of Insanity Live: aerobics, TRX suspension straps, barbell, kettlebell, crazy core, high intensity training and boot camp all in one class!!! Fantastic class as soon onto the next exercise: time flies!

Fitness Classes – What Are They ?

All our classes are suitable for men and women alike and exercises can be adapted to suit all levels of fitness

BARBELL WORKOUT & SPINNING  A mixture of spinning and weight-based exercises using barbells to target the whole body. Tone up, improve your cardiovascular fitness and have fun at the same time!

CIRCUIT FITNESS  A hugely popular class, a great way to meet people whilst getting a varied workout. A total mix-up of high/low impact cardiovascular stations and toning exercises which makes it an excellent class for all! All over body workout for tone, strength, endurance, heart and lungs.

DOWNCIZE  is our new dance-based workout: you’ll be following some dance routines that anyone can do. Step up your dance game – and your confidence. You’ll leave feeling uplifted!

GYM FIT WITH TRX A multi-functional class focussed on getting results quickly. It involves circuit-based group work activities using a dynamic range of cardio-vascular equipment teamed up with the most effective moves on the TRX.

Using kettlebells (hand-held weights) and fitballs, a very effective fat burning and core strengthening workout… designed to shape and sculpt your body in as little as 30 minutes. For rapid fat loss and a lean body. It’s a fun, super effective, stimulating, invigorating, safe and easy-to-follow class. You will use a range of basic to advanced techniques, from high energy pulse raises to exercises targeting muscle groups like abs, glutes, arms and thighs and all with maximum effectiveness.

SPINNING  An awesome indoor cycling class on stationary bikes that provides all the terrain you need – hills, climbs, flats and much more! A great way to increase lower body strength and cardiovascular endurance. And a short abs workout to finish it off.

SPINNING & BODY CONDITIONING WITH KETTLEBELLS  Combine the benefits of spinning with those of kettlebell.

SPINNING, TRX * & KETTLEBELLS  A mixture of spinning workouts and exercises using the suspension training straps and kettlebells: total body blast!

STRETCHING USING POWERPLATE AND TRX A good class to stretch those hard worked muscles, improve your range of movement and also relax. Stretches are performed alternatively without equipment, on the powerplate and with the TRX straps. From gentle stretches to those further to reach muscles stretches. You can stretch as much or little as needed but you will feel the difference!

WEIGHT LOSS  A class for people wanting to loose weight. You will receive lots of nutritional advice, specific exercises to do in the gym using various machines and the revolutionary Powerplate to speed up toning and calorie burn. All this combined with weekly weigh ins using our body fat monitor and you’re bound to succeed (check out our Success Stories board in the entrance to the gym).

YOGALATES takes the strength and flexibility exercises of a yoga class and combines them with the core tightening and strengthening of pilates. Combine the best of yoga and pilates with Yogalates – the morning invigorating class will work your entire body with a focus on core strength and flexibility whilst the evening class will allow you to wind down and release the tension accumulated during the day with the same focus on core strength and flexibility.

* TRX is a suspension strap system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform varied exercises that build power and increase strength, flexibility, balance and mobility. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself

Junior Classes

JUNIOR GYM FIT/BOOTCAMP  A class tailored specifically towards the needs of our younger gym users, taking into account their developing bones and muscle. You will use a variety of cardiovascular exercises on our gym equipment, combined with toning and strengthening exercises using your own body weight. When the weather permits it, parts of the class will be held outdoors with bootcamp style exercises. And most importantly: it’s fun!

TENNIS COACHING  For beginners or advanced squad training with qualified Lawn Tennis Coach (see Tennis section for further details)
